Welcome to Château de Purnon, an extraordinary Louis XVI chateau in Vienne, France. Practically preserved intact since its construction was completed in 1788, sadly today the château is in serious peril requiring an enormous restoration project to safeguard it for future generations.
Set over 24 hectares of beautiful parkland, Château de Purnon gazes north over le forêt de Scevolles. Inside the Château’s stone walls lie stables, a chapel, the 17th century Moulin Bigeard and a rare éolienne Bollée.
Château de Purnon is currently in peril and in grave danger requiring urgent works to protect and save the monument.
